Certifications for multi-markets
e-Mark(L1e L3e), DOT and KC
Europe (EEC e-Mark)
According to European Union's "Regulation (EU) No. 168/2013" , EEC is necessary for all importers and dealers in order to enter European market. All cars, motorcycles and a variety of components and systems must be certified to meet the basic requirements of traffic safety and environmental protection.
In Europe, vehicle certification system consists of the following two common parts: the e-Mark and E-Mark. Basically, the 2 wheel motorcycles need L1e class (≤45km/h) and L3e class(＞45km/h).
DOFA has exsiting models which has passed EEC and they can be directly sold in the EU.
US (DOT)
DOT is necessary in the US market.
According to the Department of Transportation's (DOT) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
The DOT list 13 items that they list as "regulated" motor vehicle parts including: tires, rims, brake hoses, brake fluid, seat belt assemblies, lighting equipment, glazing, motorcycle helmets, child restraints, compressed natural gas containers, rear impact guards for trailers, platform lift systems for the mobility-impaired, and triangular reflective warning devices.
We have already put on records in the Department of Transportation's in United State, so as the original manufacturer, all our vehicles will meet DOT requirements
Korea (KC)
The KC (Korea Certification) mark signifies compliance with Korea's product safety requirements for electrical and electronic equipment and is issued by Korea-based certification bodies that have been approved by the Korea Standards Association. Manufacturers and distributors of electronic goods may apply a KC mark to their goods once they have completed the standard procedure

The process of Order
Step 1. Choose a model
We have already partly models which already get e-mark certification, so that you pick from these models. If you want to develop a new model under EEC requirements, please let us know and we will discuss and share the investment with you and process the certificate process.
Step 2. Proceed with the agreement
Dpends on your order quantity, an agreement will be signed to authorize the use of related certifications. A regional exclusive authorization can be discussed if you have sufficient strength and credibility.
Step 3. Related certificates and documents for import
We will provide certificates of conformity (CoC) for every vehicles and deliver them together to help you to get necessary license for business：
For the Europe market, most of our electric moped modes are qualified with EEC, COC certification(EU CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY), which is legal to get registration in the European market.
For the United States, our electric motorcycle factory is D.O. T listed, so we can provide qualified MCO/MSO for you to get your legal plate to ride on the road legally.
